Hello! Welcome to my new blog! As 2014 begins, there is an urgency and necessity to embrace 21st century learning. As an educator, I have incorporated these competencies into my own practice with my own students, and I witness it in my capacity as a Student Work Study Teacher (SWST) at the various schools I am working in around the Toronto Catholic District School Board. It seems only fitting that I also take the plunge and start my own educational blog. I don't exactly know what shape or form my blog is going to take, but if I had to guess, I think that my goal is to document my own observations, wonderings and discoveries as an educator, particularly given the unique opportunity I currently have as a SWST. So, I invite you to embark on this journey with me and share your observations, wonderings and discoveries as well. Let's learn together!
